The property looks much better inside than out, I was impressed. There was a very nice letter on display from the new management inside the room. Everyting has been modernised. Check in was very straightforward, and the owner was very amicable. Excellent in-room facilities and crockery for BYO food.

I really enjoyed my stay; the motel was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating; I had to contact the owner out of hours having locked myself out the room on the hunt for dinner and the owner assisted really promptly out of hours. The room and bed were very comfortable and the room was clean, and in a great location with an easy walk to the beach and local bars/restaurants and shops. Really enjoyed a two day pit stop here along the great ocean road.

Excellent communication with all the details sent via SMS and the ability to communicate back. Easy collection of key from electronic key safe as office was closed. Room was clean and very large. The TV was a modern smart TV, AC was quiet. 2 Comfortable recliners in the room. Close to the city centre. 4 port USB charger next to bed. Hot shower with good pressure.

The location was quiet, away from main road traffic with onsite and additional off street parking. The host was welcoming with personal text messaging and clear instructions to easily access room key after hours. The room was clean with all that was needed and the bed was very comfortable. Walking distance to cafe and breakfast options.

We had the roomy 2 bedroom suite which had been renovated to a stylish standard. The beds were very comfortable with good linen. The bathroom was roomy but the shower was over the bath which could be difficult for anyone with mobility problems. There was a good non-slip mat for the bath. The towels were lovely and we liked the wooden bathmat. The property is an older type and the new owner is making a lot of ongoing improvements. The property is off the highway, easy to find and close to shopping centres and eateries. There was a lovely BBQ area available

My wife had a knee pain and could not climb stairs, which was our original allotment. When I did let the owner know, he upgraded me to a 3 bed apartment absolutely at nothing extra. Plus he personally arranged to send pedestal fans as the master bedroom was not within easy reach of the living room air con. Added this to the wonderful WIFI , other arrangements stole our hearts.

It was a two-bedroom unit upstairs at the end overlooking the city. The rooms are a generous size. Only one bathroom, but again a generous size. The water is hot and the beds are very comfortable and roomy. There are no adjoining units although the lobby of the unit is shared with another unit opposite. There is a shared outdoor bbq area outside the family unit that is open to other guests to use within restricted hours. We vacated the unit and dropped off the key before realizing an item had been left behind. Even though it was the weekend, we were able to get through to the manager quickly who was very approachable and we were able to quickly resolve the issue and retrieve the item with absolutely no drama. It is very close to the city center, shops and restaurants.

So vline has announced cut price tickets, so my aim in the next couple of months is to travel to the end of every train line in Victoria. Warrnambool was an amazing 2 day adventure. I had been through the city in March with a tour group and had been intreged by the story of the loch ard peacock. My room was booked at the last minute. I didn't really expect much for the price I paid. But it was clean and comfortable. Very 1970's in layout. But the bathroom was scrumptious clean along with the rest of the room. The reason for my high score? The shower in the bathroom has a disco light. I mean, like an LED in the shower head. I have been in the army and for tactical purposes, I like to shower in the dark. It helps me not get depressed over how old and fat I now am. I was completely blown away by the discovery of the disco light. Chuck in a bit of YouTube and some 1990 black box and I was there back at laser disco in Springvale young and beautiful again. Who would have thought a disco light would have me so entertained. Didn't need to go to the pub after this experience. Tucked up comfortably in bed with Martha Stewart on SBS. I'm so happy I didn't want to leave ..

Rob the owner is very friendly and surprised us with an upgrade on our room. The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Wi-Fi was excellent too. Location is another plus for this motel. Just an easy walk across the highway and you are in the heart of the city center with some great restaurants. Would stay here again.

Room had everything we needed. We had no noise issues and everything worked. It was clear that effort had been made to upgrade - TV and aircon were new or recent.
